DIY Impact Window Pricing Guide

Posted by Jimmy Hawley on Oct 27, 2017 1:00:00 PM

Living in a highly active hurricane area means six months out of every year is spent on high alert. Every new developing tropic disturbance out in the Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Ocean has the potential to be a Hurricane Harvey, Irma, or Maria.

Thankfully, storms of these magnitudes don’t hit land every season; but enough damage is caused by weaker and more frequent storms than most homeowners realize. Protecting both your home and business from the highwind storms, should be top priority and one of the best ways to do that is with the use of impact windows.

Keep in mind as you consider protecting your home or business with impact windows that for full protection and full insurance discounts, ALL openings of your structure need to be covered by an approved hurricane protection method.

Using our DIY Impact Window Pricing Kit is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!

  1. Read through this guide.
  2. Take and record your window opening measurements on the Window Sizing Chart.
  3. Input measurements, style, and window grade into the calculator.

That’s it!

Our easy to use online Window Pricing Calculator will calculate the price of both standard and premium impact windows based on your measurements. This tool will also guide you in what styles and the number of windows that will fit in your opening. Let’s get started!
